SPOKANE, WA · SUSPENSION VS. REVOCATION
TWO DIFFERENT OUTCOMES
A suspension temporarily takes away your driving privilege for a set period. A revocation cancels the privilege — when it ends, you must meet the DOL’s requirements before you can be licensed again.
The outcome depends on the facts: your test result, whether you refused testing, and your prior record. Refusals and repeat offenses generally lead to revocation and longer periods.
Either way, you will usually need to meet requirements such as SR-22 insurance and reinstatement fees before driving again.
Chris Bugbee explains exactly what applies to your license and what you can do to keep driving.
As a former Spokane County prosecutor with 30+ years of criminal law experience and nearly 200 jury cases, he handles your case personally.
